Hello Oakland Families!

I am proud to say that I have been the principal here since 2016. Before becoming an administrator, I worked as a special education teacher. I am originally from Charleston and I am a huge fan of the Carolina Gamecocks. When I'm not at school, I enjoy working out, spending time with my family, cheering on the Gamecocks, and going to the beach.

Hi Orcas!

This is my third year serving as Assistant Principal at Oakland, and I’m proud to be an Orca! Prior to this role, I worked as a district administrator and a classroom teacher. Originally from Long Island, New York, I now call Charleston home. When I’m not at school, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, traveling, relaxing at the beach, coaching lacrosse, or cheering on my daughters from the sidelines.

Greetings, Orca Families!

 I've been a part of the Oakland family since 2005!  I've proudly helped serve the needs of our Exceptional Children for 23 years as a classroom teacher and as an Assistant Principal for two! I love spending time with family and friends, and especially enjoy trying out new restaurants!  My time at Oakland is a true testament of how much I love being an Orca!
