Construction has begun on new two-story 6th grade academy replacement middle school for 600 students.

PROJECT UPDATE 9/2026

Construction is progressing steadily across all areas of the building. Roofing, exterior cladding, and window installations are nearing completion, with dry-in status expected. Interior metal stud framing for walls and soffits is complete on the first floor and progressing on the second. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire sprinkler installations are ongoing throughout the building, with fire alarm work scheduled to begin once the building is dried in.

PROJECT UPDATE 07/2026

The scope of the project includes building a new 103,000sf middle school for 600 students on the existing C.E. Williams North Campus. Brick veneer installation continues around the exterior of the building. The roof structure installation is complete. Interior metal stud walls
throughout the first floor have been framed, and in-wall rough-in is underway. Overhead mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire sprinkler work remain ongoing throughout the building. July activities include roofing installation and interior metal stud wall framing on the second floor.

The project is on schedule for occupancy August 2027.
