Assessment Information

Student assessments include both formative and summative assessments. The results of the assessments are used by all stakeholders to make the program, staffing, professional development, instructional, financial, and personnel decisions. Formative assessments are on-going and are used as the basis for drawing conclusions about examinees to inform the instructional process. Summative assessments are used for accreditation and accountability reporting.

 

During your student's time at Oakland, they will participate in a variety of assessments. They are included below by grade level:

CD: myIGDIs

K: KRA, iReady (Math and Reading), Fastbridge (Math and Reading)

1st: iReady (Math and Reading), Fastbridge (Reading)

2nd: iReady (Math and Reading), IOWA, CogAT

3rd: SCReady (Writing, Reading, Math), iReady (Math and Reading)

4th: SCReady (Writing, Reading, Math, Science), iReady (Math and Reading), CogAT

5th: SCReady (Writing, Reading, Math)
